Marat
Shanin (born 1928) studied at the Penza Art College between 1943 - 1948,
then at the Kharkov Art Institute 1948 - 1954. Taught at the Penza Art
College. Member of the Union of Artists. Honoured Artist of Moldovia.
Widely exhibited in Russia. Paintings in local museums and private collections
in Russia and abroad.
