"The
sentries would not let the peasant's petitioners in to meet Lenin.
The peasants insisted. Lenin heard the argument and came out.
The peasants flocked together, put their bags onto the floor,
and took off their hats in respect. They poured their hearts to
him. Lenin could understand the needs of poor peasants and they
warmed up to him. He could easily tell the rich peasants from
the poor, those who worked from early morning till late at night
from those who made a profit exploiting the others. That was why
peasants left this hospitable room with a feeling of total trust
to their leader." Viktor Tsvetkov 1960
